Synergia HRMS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how Synergia HRMS, a companion mobile application to the Synergia HRMS web platform, collects, uses, and safeguards your information.
Overview
Synergia HRMS is intended solely for authorized users of the Synergia web-based HRMS platform. The mobile app provides access to employee schedules, absence records, and approval workflows.
Data Collection
We do not collect or request personal information directly from users within the mobile app. However, the app may access the following data, strictly for functionality and security purposes:
- Location Data: Used for attendance verification and geolocation-based features.
- Biometric Data: May be used in future versions for secure login via Face ID/Touch ID.
We do not collect or use health information, contact lists, or any unrelated personal data.
Data Usage
The app does not process or use personal data for any independent purpose. It acts as a display and interaction layer for the Synergia web application. Key actions include:
- Viewing HRMS data synchronized from the web platform
- Updating approval statuses
- Submitting absence schedules
All business logic and data storage remain on the server-side platform, managed by your employer.
Data Sharing
We do not share any user data with third parties.
No data is used for advertising, analytics, or external integrations. Your data remains fully within the Synergia platform and its backend infrastructure.
Authentication & Access
- Users log in using company-issued credentials (username and password).
- SSO and biometric login methods are currently not available, but may be introduced in future updates.
- Only authorized users, typically employees of subscribing organizations, may access the app.
Data Storage & Security
- All data displayed or submitted via the app is stored securely on backend servers.
- Data is encrypted during transmission (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
- The mobile app does not store personal data locally.
We follow industry-standard security practices to prevent unauthorized access, data loss, or misuse.
Children’s Privacy
SynergiaHRMS is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from minors. If we learn that a minor has accessed the app, their access will be revoked, and relevant data will be deleted if applicable.
Legal Compliance
We adhere to all applicable Qatar Data Protection Laws and take necessary steps to protect the rights and privacy of all users.
